World Milk Day

We found an enlightening quote on the internet, “A glass of milk a day keeps black thoughts away.”

Do you drink milk everyday? If not, then you should now. World Milk Day is the perfect moment to acknowledge the significance of milk and at the same time spread awareness about it. Of course, we’ll celebrate too!

Commemoration of this important day began in 2001 and has been religiously observed since then. It was first designated by the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations to identify milk and its importance as an incredible global food. So, grab a glass of milk, mark your calendars on 1st June 2018 as World Milk Day 2018, and say cheers.

Every year, a theme and special campaign is introduced all around the world based on which, there’s merry-making through activities, competitions, concerts, farm visits, and lots more. We know you are curious to know the current year’s theme. Here we go, it is ‘Raise a glass’ and you can follow it on social media via #WorldMilkDay.
