Masala Tea Recipe

Prep time – 15 minutes
Serves - 2-3
- Whole cloves - 4
- Cinnamon sticks - 1
- Ground ginger - ¼ tsp
- Cardamom pods - 2
- Ground black pepper (preferably fresh) - ⅛ tsp

- Water - 3 cups
- Milk - ½ cup
- Granulated sugar - 2 tbsps
- Black tea - 2 tbsps
Masala tea easy recipe
- Use a mortar aka okhli to crush the spices – cardamom pods, cloves, and cinnamon
- Take water in a saucepan. Add ginger, pepper, and the crushed spices to this pan
- Bring it to a boil
- Turn off the flame. Cover the pan and let it stay for five minutes
- Now add milk and sugar and boil
- Turn off the flame and add the tea
- Cover and leave for three minutes
- Stir and serve
