A heaven of chocolates

If heaven were made of chocolate, it’d be Jus’ Trufs all over. With a humble beginning in the kitchen of Chenddyna Schae, the enterprise has grown into a sensation engulfing many homes with their signature offerings. The family of four – an enterprising chef mom, a passionate foodie dad, and their two very encouraging, sweet-toothed sons – introduced Bangalore to their brand of chocolates in October 2001. Since then their venture has grown significantly in terms of crew and fan following. Their specially crafted premium chocolate truffles, presented beautifully in elegant chocolate boxes and hampers, are ideal for corporate gifting, romantic gestures, special moments with family, friends, and colleagues, or simply indulging oneself.

They personally recommend their very dark, decadent Belgian-style chocolate pralines made with pure cocoa butter. Their signature range of soft-centred, melt-in-the-mouth truffles and crunchy pralines in bittersweet dark chocolate is a special blend of fine Asian couvertures. Their milk chocolate, with its well-rounded flavour and healthy cocoa content, lavishly coats lollipops for kids.

Schae has been awarded certification from Bakery & Confectionery Catering College, Mumbai; Hotel Administration & Food Technology, Sophia College, Mumbai; Belgian Chocolate Masterclass, Barry Callebaut Institute, Singapore; Belgian Chocolate Masterclass, Barry Callebaut Institute, Mumbai; 10,000 Women, sponsored by Goldman Sachs and conducted by International School of Business (ISB), Hyderabad; and Patisserie, Lavonne Institute, Bangalore.  

She trained with Melt, chocolate boutique in Notting Hill, London; Barry Callebaut’s chocolate ambassador Bart Van Cauwenberghe at his chocolaterie, DeZwarteVos, Deinze, Belgium; and Herr Bulter, master chocolatier and baker from Netherlands. In 2009, Jus' Trufs also won the Best Business Plan award at ISB, Hyderabad. But Schae does not rest on her laurels and continues to perfect the art of making chocolate.
