About Maharana Stores, Bardoli
A reputed name in the food industry
Jeevan Singh Jain came to Bardoli, Gujarat, from Udaipur after completing his education. Cherishing a passion for the food industry, he established Maharana Stores in 1982. He named his enterprise after Maharana Pratap, the historic brave ruler from his own state of Rajasthan. It has been 33 years since the brand came into being and Jain, who still runs the company, is constant in his belief that you will not find products that Maharana offers in a purer form anywhere. Manually prepared, with emphasis on natural ingredients and authentic flavours, these have gone from being locally sold in Bardoli to getting exported across the world. And this has only been possible with an ever-widening customer base – 95% of which is composed of NRIs, with the rest being concentrated in South Gujarat and Maharashtra.
Maharana Stores began by selling groundnuts, chikki, and mukhwas in Gujarat. From manufacturing to packaging and retailing, everything continues to be a wholly manual process. Yet it manages to average a total production of 1,000 kg daily.
Maharana Stores has gradually expanded its product range to include a variety of dry snacks, instant chutney, and milk shake powders. A brand built on customer-friendly policies, its products are varied to suit different buyers. The use of natural ingredients, manual processes, and hygiene practices conveys a personal touch. The brand keeps its eyes peeled for newer trends and updates its already vast product range every few months following detailed R&D and customer feedback. Every time a customer purchases a Maharana Stores product, they are assured of purity and satisfaction.
