Firangi Twist

Surprise your guests with this East-meets-West savoury. The patty-based snack – consisting of comfort-food potato along with a filling of carrot, onion, and corn – gets a delectable crunch from Karachi Bakery Osmania Biscuits. Seasoned with oregano, pepper, cheese, and chilli flakes, Firangi Twist is surely to be the talk of any party.    

Ingredients:-

  • Karachi Bakery Osmania Biscuits
  • Sauce – 1 small sachet
  • Mozzarella cheese – 1 small pack
  • Carrot – 1
  • Onion – 1
  • Corn kernels – 10 g
  • Potato – 5
  • Chilli flakes – 1 tsp
  • Oregano – 1 tsp
  • Black pepper – 1 tsp
  • Bread crumbs – 10 tbsp
  • Oil – for frying

Preparation:-

  • Boil the potatoes; skin and mash; keep aside.
  • Boil corn kernels; keep aside
  • Cut carrots and onions into small pieces
  • Fry the onions in a little oil until soft and pink
  • Add all the vegetables
  • Add chilli flakes, salt, black pepper, and oregano; mix well
  • Sauté till the mixture leaves the sides of the pan
  • Cool the mixture and make patties; keep aside.
  • Grate the mozzarella cheese; keep aside
  • Roll the patties in bread crumbs and shallow fry until golden brown
  • Place Karachi Bakery Osmania Biscuits on plate
  • Layer the biscuits with sauce
  • Place a patty each on the biscuits
  • Top with cheese and sauce (make sure the patties are hot for the cheese to melt)
  • Serve hot
